The highly anticipated start date of Big Brother arrives soon.
Hopefully, die-hard Big Brother fans have warned their families about what’s to come.
CBS will give over much of its primetime summer schedule to the hit reality competition show.
And the producers are even advertising more coverage than in past seasons.
When does Big Brother start this summer?
The first episode of Big Brother 27 airs on Thursday, July 10 at 8/7c.
That might not be the official start date, though.
CBS and the producers have not yet announced a live move-in, suggesting that the houseguests will be playing the game before the first episode airs.
Sometimes, the houseguests get sequestered several days before the premiere night. That could also be the case this summer. Stay tuned.
Schedule shakeup for CBS and BB27
CBS has announced that the first three episodes will each be 90 minutes long.
Those episodes air on July 10, 13, and 16. Getting additional coverage through the first week is a nice treat for the viewers.
That’s four and a half hours of coverage for the first three episodes of BB27. Fans will get plenty of time to learn the names of the Big Brother 27 cast members.
A bonus Friday night episode is also slated for July 25. That’s when Big Brother: Unlocked debuts.
For any viewers who miss an episode early on, it will be available for streaming on Paramount+.
The Big Brother Live Feeds have also returned, allowing fans to watch the hamsters late into the night.
What are former houseguests up to lately?
Many former players have either been busy or have significant events coming up in their lives.
The fiancé of one Big Brother just won the NBA championship. This is the second time he has won a title.
House of Villains Season 2 features a Big Brother alum who is coming out of retirement. They haven’t been on television in years.
