Filming has been happening in Thailand, with TJ Lavin as the host again.
Over the past six or seven weeks, spoilers have leaked about the season’s results.
That includes rumors about four players getting disqualified. Apparently, the new season contains lots of drama.

Who are the champions of The Challenge 42?

There are five players on the winning team. It likely means they split a big prize pool. Many of these names are very recognizable. And they just improved their reality TV resumes. Below are their names, and the other shows they have been on outside of The Challenge.

- Michele Fitzgerald (Survivor)
- Will Gagnon (Are You the One?)
- Johnny Bananas (The Real World: Key West, The Traitors)
- Tori Deal (Are You The One?)
We also know which team finished in second place. This was an all-women team in the end, likely due to the disqualifications from earlier in the season.

- Cara Maria Sorbello (The Challenge legend, 99 To Beat)
- Cassidy Clark (Survivor)

Fans react to the results of The Challenge 42
Many Challenge fans are already weighing in on the results.
“CT and bananas retiring together after finally winning a challenge together would be legendary,” wrote one fan.
“So happy for Will and Michelle!!!” exclaimed one person.
“But it’s kind of unfair that a team with three men is up against a team made up only of women, with one member missing. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️,” wrote someone else.
The results turned off one fan.
“Congrats to Michelle and Will but this season is looking like a big flop 😂 24 players? 4+ DQ’s? Two teams in the final and one team being all females and the other having CT and Bananas?” someone wrote.
