The format will be similar to what happened with the Survivor 49 season finale in the fall.

President Trump to speak on April 1 during Survivor 50
Survivor 50, Episode 6 airs on Wednesday, April 1. It’s a two-hour installment, with lots of ground to cover.
As previously reported by Tea on TV, the Survivor producers teased the largest Merge ever. Will it play out like that?
Unfortunately, the episode will be cut in half for two time zones.
CBS will begin the April 1 episode at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT. The network will air an hour for the Eastern and Central time zones, and then shift to the president’s speech.
Following the speech, CBS will return to the Survivor episode. The night will finish with a new episode of America’s Culinary Cup.
Rumors state that the speech will be about 20 minutes. So the break in Survivor episode segments shouldn’t be too long.
The April 1 Survivor 50 episode should air normally in the Mountain and Pacific time zones. It should remain at a start time of 8 p.m. in those two zones, with the episode beginning after the speech.
