One Chicago is coming to a close in less than two weeks. Then, the long summer hiatus begins.
NBC just released the titles of this year’s final episodes for Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D.
It’s going to be an intense last two weeks, as evidenced by the teasers shared after April 29’s episodes.
Each show builds up the drama toward a climax and possibly a few cliffhangers.
Additionally, NBC has already ordered new seasons for next year. So fans can rest easy during the offseason. New episodes will arrive in the fall.
Med season finale information
The Chicago Med season finale airs on Wednesday, May 13. It begins at 8/7c on NBC.
NBC teased that the May 6 episode is about a prison riot, which inundates the ED with new patients. That leaves the season finale to focus on Dr. Hannah Asher (played by Jessy Schram). Hannah’s baby is coming soon, likely changing things for her in a big way.
The March 13 episode, titled Heaven Help Us (Season 11, Episode 21), has many subplots to wrap up. Will Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) keep his job? Will the past of Dr. John Frost (Darren Barnet) become too much for him? And what about the relationship between Dr. Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell) and Dr. Caitlin Lenox (Sarah Ramos)?
Fire season finale information
The Chicago Fire season finale airs on Wednesday, May 13. It begins at 9/8c on NBC. Will Kelley Severide (Taylor Kinney) keep his job? Something big is likely to happen in the final episodes of the season, especially because of friction with the new chief.
Here’s what happened to Chief Pascal, if you needed a reminder. Veteran actor Dermot Mulroney played the part, but he had to return to his other show, The Hunting Wives.
The Fire season finale is titled Thank You (Season 14, Episode 21). It may have a double meaning, but we expect drama to hit Firehouse 51. Will that love triangle be solved yet? Could a guest star mix things up?
P.D. season finale information
The Chicago P.D. season finale airs on Wednesday, May 13. It begins at 10/9c on NBC.
The final episode of the season is titled Born or Made (Season 13, Episode 21), but it’s unclear what storylines will steer it. As we saw on the April 29 episode, Disco Bob (Ruzek’s dad) may have passed away in the final moments. A funeral is on the horizon, but we also have to find out what’s going on with Eva Imani’s missing sister. Arienne Mandi plays the new character, and Imani has become very close to Voight.
