Survivor alums advance to next episode of new show

Three Survivor alums are featured on the new season of Bed Rot Challenge.

Yes, the show is as silly as the name hints. But the great news is that it’s easy to watch in your spare time.

The rules are also pretty easy to understand. The person who stays in bed the longest without touching the ground walks away with a big cash prize. $100,000 is on the line.

A previous iteration of Bed Rot featured many people from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. $25,000 was up for grabs that time.

Survivor, The Challenge, Love Island USA, and The Traitors alums are on this season. But they did bring back someone from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, as he is the ex of the Love Island USA alum.

Who is on the Bed Rot Challenge with the Survivor alums?

Below is the list of players on this season of the Bed Rot Challenge:

  • Carolyn Wiger from Survivor and The Traitors USA.
  • Natalie Anderson from Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Challenge, and The Traitors USA.
  • Ben Katzman from Survivor.
  • Vanna Einerson from Love Island USA.
  • Chase McWhorter from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
  • Aaron Kahng from The Bachelorette (Taylor Frankie Paul’s unaired season).
  • Zadok Esters from Beast Games.
  • Luke Yates, a YouTube bodybuilder.
  • Phalesia Pilkington
  • Sam Curtis

What happened during the first episode of Bed Rot Challenge?

Three Survivor alums are competing for the cash prize. They are Carolyn Wiger (Season 44), Natalie Anderson (Season 29 winner), and Ben Katzman (Season 46).

Additionally, TV viewers have seen Natalie on The Amazing Race, The Challenge, and The Traitors.

An elimination happened right away. They didn’t even make it 10 minutes.

Vanna Einerson from Love Island USA got distracted and put a foot on the floor while trying to look under her bed. That ended her game.

Vanna is the ex of Chase McWhorter from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. So we won’t see any Vanna-Chase drama now.

Later, a puzzle challenge decided who got a comfy bed and who was relegated to sleeping in a crib. Luke Yates won. Sam Curtis had to sleep in the crib.

The producers then introduced a button that contestants could press when they were ready for elimination games. Carolyn immediately pressed it.

Players had to free a whistle from a block of ice. The first one to get their whistle out would win an advantage. The last two people would battle one another, with one of them going home.

Luke won again. Ben and Phalesia Pilkington were the losers. They then competed in another challenge: a smaller puzzle. Phalesia lost, saving Ben.

Caroly, Natalie, and Ben survived.
