The Big Brother 28 cast just played in their first Veto Competition. It’s a rite of passage for the houseguests, setting the tone for the Veto Meeting and upcoming Eviction Ceremony.
But let’s take a step back and talk about all the previous spoilers from the first week. The hamsters have been busy since the game actually began back on July 7.
Dee Valladares is the Week 1 Head of Household. She got there by beating Rick Devens and Angela Murray in the HOH Competition. No, it wasn’t fair that 14 people didn’t get to play in it. But we have to move on.
Dee nominated Mallory Aurichio, Taylor Brown, and Yash Patel for eviction. She chose a person from each Time Travel group. It seems fair, but we will learn later if she was hiding her narrative. In case anyone forgot, there are three nominees each week that set the stage for the BB Blockbuster on eviction night.
At the house drawing, Barrett Pfeiffer and Melody Morris were chosen to play in the Veto Competition. That took us to our six players.
Who won the Power of Veto on Big Brother 28?
To summarize, the Veto players were Dee, Mallory, Taylor, Yash, Melody, and Barrett.
Dee says she doesn’t want the Power of Veto used. It could force her to name a fourth nominee.
Late on Saturday (July 11), we learned who won the first Power of Veto on Big Brother 28.
Mallory won the Power of Veto.
Mallory will save herself from the block on Monday.
Dee must soon name a replacement nominee. But who?

With the Veto Competition in the books, we now head toward the first Veto Meeting of the summer.
The Veto Meeting is on Monday (July 13), where the final nominees will be set. Those three people will have one final chance to save themselves during the BB Blockbuster on Thursday night (July 16).
