A new Big Brother 28 episode aired on Sunday night. This was Episode 10 for the summer season, which includes two episodes of Big Brother: Unlocked.
Devens was the last Head of Household, and he succeeded in sending Rome home. Jason and Melody survived the block.
The 12-1 vote was hinky to some folks, because Lyric claimed she voted against Rome. She did, but Taylor voted against Melody to throw a wrench into things.
Footage of the Lyric and Rome showmance is done for now, so it will be interesting to see how the producers fill that time during upcoming episodes.
Big Brother 28, Episode 10 recap: Voting drama
Lyric had some confusion about the rogue vote.
Angela celebrated Rome walking out the door.
Devens said he trusted Lyric, but he was unsure where the random vote came from.
Taylor spoke in the Diary Room about how she wasn’t going to tell anyone that she made that vote.
Barrett spoke again about being at the bottom of the Toolshed alliance, leading to discussions with Drew about making a big move.
Drew said in a Diary Room session that he was going to throw the HOH Competition.
Mallory talked a big game about getting new people on the block.
A new Head of Household
The houseguests time traveled to a wrestling ring in 1985. They had to watch a wrestling event and then answer true/false questions about it.
Dee and Taylor missed the first question.
Chuk, Drew, Angela, Melody, and Jason were out on the second question.
Haley missed the third question.
La Trice missed question four.
Yash, Lyric, Mallory, and Barrett missed the fifth question, and it was over.
Kamu Kirk won the HOH Competition.
Nomination plans and more from Big Brother 28
Kamu stated that the Toolshed was staying in power during his first post-win Diary Room session.
That answered any questions about him taking a big shot. Now Kamu had to decide which three people would hit the block, possibly nominating people who have already seen the block this season.
Jason had a Diary Room session and stated that he didn’t want to be on the block and that Kamu needed to go after other bigger threats.
Dee, Kamu, Drew, and Chuk celebrated his big win. He quickly stated that he wanted to go after Jason and Mallory.
Angela told Dee that she felt Drew threw out the rogue vote. Dee bought it. It could put Drew in danger later this season.
Mallory told Kamu that she would have nominated Jason and the Survivor players if she were HOH.
Later, Lyric flirted with Kamu a LOT as a way to stay off the block.
Melody and Drew did a lot of flirting together later on.
A new BB28 Fan Vote winner
Rick Devens won the latest BB28 Fan Vote. He won a power.
Devens has the Diamond Power of Veto. It’s a huge advantage. It allows Devens to remove someone from the block and replace them with a player of his choice. This happens at the Veto Ceremony.
He only planned to tell Dee about the power and wait to use it until one of them was at risk.
Who did Kamu nominate for eviction?
Kamu nominated Lyric, La Trice, and Mallory for eviction.
He got there after having a long chat with Drew. Drew expressed how they didn’t want Jason to play for the Power of Veto. Jason is Kamu’s primary target, and he agreed with Drew’s assessment.
So Jason became the primary target. As expected. Kamu even told him he was a competition threat.
Kamu then told Lyric she was going to be a pawn. After all that flirting, she was not happy.
Lyric, La Trice, and Mallory are your Week 3 nominees.
