Kamu Kirk became the Week 3 Head of Household and immediately had a plan.
Kamu wanted to get Jason out, and he told anyone who would listen.
But Drew got to him before the Nomination Ceremony and convinced him not to nominate Jason first. This might keep Jason from playing in the Veto Competition.
But Jason did get to play for the Power of Veto. He was one of the two extra players selected to compete.
Quick spoilers update from the Big Brother 28 cast
Kamu nominated La Trice, Lyric, and Mallory for eviction. He went back on his word to Lyric about keeping her off the block. She was not happy after all the flirting she had put into him.
But the plan was the same. No matter what happened with the Power of Veto, Kamu told people that Jason would become a replacement nominee.
Haley and Jason were selected to play in the Veto Competition. It created some fun scenarios should either player win the POV. But they didn’t.
Lyric won the Power of Veto. This was a huge game moment for her. Not only did it mean she could save herself, but it is an important addition to her resume. Plus, winning the POV after Rome got evicted had to feel particularly sweet.
But before the Veto Ceremony, Kamu wanted to make Jason look worse. It was a weird tactic.

What happened at Lyric’s Veto Ceremony on Big Brother 28?
Lyric saved herself with the Power of Veto. That’s not surprising at all. Neither is the replacement nominee.
Kamu named Jason as the replacement nominee.
The final nominees are now Jason, La Trice, and Mallory.
This trio will play in the BB Blockbuster Challenge on Thursday night (July 30), and someone will gain safety.
Can Jason win his second straight BB Blockbuster? He has to if he doesn’t want to go home.
Likewise, La Trice may need to win it to ensure her own safety. She might go home if she is on the block next to only Mallory. The house doesn’t see Mallory as a threat, but La Trice has frustrated some people by suggesting that everyone do their fair share of cleaning and cooking. Gasp! How dare she!
