The new Big Brother episode began with a recap of La Trice getting blindsided as Kamu was sent home.
Mallory and Melody tried to smooth things over, but she felt pretty stupid.
Dee won the Head of Household Competition that several people claimed to have lost on purpose (Melody, Barrett, and Mallory).
Then Dee used the BB Bribe on Yash, keeping the Reality TV Icons safe if he became HOH.
Dee nominated La Trice, Taylor, and Drew. Drew had also become the target. Oops.
But the previous episode ended with a cliffhanger, as La Trice, Taylor, and Drew began fighting at the Nomination Ceremony.
Big Brother 28, Episode 24 recap from August 26
A fight happened as Dee tried to end the Nomination Ceremony.
Taylor and La Trice claimed they never said they would nominate Dee.
Melody was there when the plan to nominate an icon came up. Taylor and La Trice agreed. Drew also participated in the chat later. That’s exactly what Drew told the icons, but Taylor and La Trice continue to deny doing any of it.
In a Diary Room session, Melody said everyone needed to target the icons, and that everyone was trying to run from the blame.
Taylor began yelling at Drew, trying to cover up her own lies by blaming Drew.
Barrett, Melody, and Drew all agreed that La Trice had wanted to target “the icons” as she broke down why each icon needed to go home. The producers then showed the footage of La Trice and Taylor wanting and speaking about getting the icons out.
“I am all of the icons,” Devens joked at the Dining Room table.
La Trice kept calling Drew “the known liar” to cover for what she had done. It got heated, as La Trice claimed it “was not necessary,” even though she was pushing a false narrative.
Diary Room admissions on Big Brother 28
In a DR, Dee said her real target had been Drew, but she was shifting to Taylor because Drew’s game had been blown up.
La Trice then spoke in a DR session, where she continued to claim she had never mentioned targeting Angela or Devens (she did). Maybe she had forgotten what she did?
Devens loved the chaos. He called it “a good time” as everyone fought and distracted each other from the icons.
Later, La Trice went after Drew in the backyard, again, calling him a liar. Then she began talking him down to anyone who would listen.
Finally, La Trice admitted to what she did in a new DR session.
Who won the Veto Competition this time on Big Brother?
Taylor and La Trice really wanted to win the Power of Veto to help send Drew home. They planned for one of them to win the POV, and the other to win the BB Blockbuster.
Barrett and Angela joined the quartet in the challenge.
Later, Devens talked in the DR about how she doesn’t trust Mallory. When he presented the idea to Angela, she loved it. He was worried the ladies (Melody and Mallory) would control Barrett and Drew, so he needed one of them out.
Devens also told Dee that they needed Mallory out before Taylor. Dee joined in on the new plan.
The Veto Competition took the players to 1982, where they did exercises (reps were counted). We have seen this challenge before. Post the fewest reps, and you are out.
- Round one eliminees were Drew and Angela.
- Round two eliminated Dee.
- Barrett, La Trice, and Taylor competed in the final round. What a fitting battle after the Nomination Ceremony fight.
- La Trice won the Power of Veto.
After the Veto Competition, Dee got to work on her replacement nominee. She worked on Haley to make it seem like it was her (Haley’s) idea to target Mallory. The icons then tried to get Drew to bite on the idea. It didn’t land well.
Dee then told Drew that she used her BB Bribe to get safety from Yash. She gave that as the reason she couldn’t nominate Yash. Later, she also approached Barrett about the entire plan.
While Barrett and Drew were frustrated, neither of them stood up to Dee. In chats between them, the guys said that Dee was bad for their games. She could be in trouble next week.
What happened at the messy Veto Ceremony?
Ahead of the Veto Ceremony, Dee spoke to Mallory about how she was going on the block.
When Melody learned about the plan, she lost it.
La Trice saved herself from the block. Dee named Mallory the replacement nominee.
The final nominees for the week are Mallory, Drew, and Taylor. One of them is going home during the next episode.
Here’s a breakdown of what happened with HairBrushGate. The “pranks” didn’t make it to the episode, though.
