Big Brother Live Feed coverage caught a shocking conversation whereTaylor Brown argued that “bullying works” and that it should be brought back.
The statement, coming from a school counselor, shocked many fans, but it started an interesting conversation.
Fans are taking sides. Some say Taylor’s comments are being misinterpreted, and others say that she should know better than to use “bullying” in this context.
It led to a social media debate about the context of bullying and whether it works.
Big Brother fans shocked by what Taylor said on the Live Feeds
Drew joked about finally wearing socks, to which Melody commented that they had bullied him into it.
“Bullying works,” Taylor chimed in. “I’m telling ya’ll. Bullying works.”
“Bring back bullying,” she added.
Several folks nervously laughed, including Dee.
“Bullying does work, bro. I see it all the time,” she elaborated.
“BBB. Bring back bullying,” Devens joked.
It didn’t end there.
“Bring back bullying. On some things, it does work,” Taylor added.
Dee tried to move away from the topic, suggesting that she was fine with her friends roasting her.
“Like the little, like the little girls, I be like, they’re not wearing deodorant. It’s time to start wearing deodorant. They don’t listen to me… they start getting bullied… they start wearing deodorant,” Taylor stated. “It worked.”
Big Brother fans respond to Taylor’s Live Feeds statements
“She should be ashamed of herself for this!!! There is NO LEVEL of BULLYING that works!!! Sooooo many kids have taken their life due to bullying FIRE HER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!,” one fan wrote.
“This is the educator you’re trying to misrepresent btw. One who buys toiletries, clothes and food for the children she works with out of pocket. One who goes above and beyond for food access work. She was talking in context w friends abt a phenomena she witnessed casually over,” noted another viewer.
“That’s an insane thing for a school counselor to say,” someone else noted.
“Why would you choose to paraphrase &misrepresent what Taylor said? That was disingenuous &disgusting. She clearly meant scolding from peers is effective in changing one’s behavior (specifically hygiene). To suggest otherwise w/your post is dangerous to Taylor’s rep & livelihood,” someone else wrote to defend Taylor.
