Host Julie Chen Moonves welcomed us to a “wild night” of Big Brother on Thursday night.
There was a lot to cover. The BB28 cast has been busy following the Barrett and Yash evictions.
In the September 23 episode, CBS viewers finally saw what happened during the latest Devens HOH reign.
We left off with Melody Morris being evicted. That made the final four players Drew, Devens, Dee, and Taylor.

Big Brother 28, Episode 39 recap from September 24
Julie told CBS viewers that it was Day 80 as the episode began. The long Big Brother 28 season ends next week, with the big October 1 season finale. She then revealed what we would see on Thursday night.
But first, we needed to learn the fates of the final four houseguests.

Drew was excited about making the “top four” this season.
Taylor said she “rebuked” the curse and survived. She was pretty excited and called herself “that girl” in a Diary Room segment.
Devens was nervous. He made “deep runs on Survivor, but it was now crunch time on Big Brother.
Dee said she felt amazing about being one step closer to becoming the first person to win Survivor and Big Brother.
The Survivor duo danced after they made the final four.
Taylor worried about the threesome (Dee, Devens, and Drew).
Later, Devens and Drew bonded again. Devens was confident Drew would take him to the end.

Who won the final four HOH Competition on Big Brother 28?
Dee, Drew, and Taylor competed to become the final four Head of Household.
The challenge was done in rounds. Players watched a video and then had to solve a puzzle.
Here is Devens explaining it all:
Taylor and Drew won the first round. Dee was eliminated.
Dee said she “fumbled the bag” with that puzzle.
Taylor won the second round.
Taylor Brown became the final four Head of Household.
Who did Taylor nominate for eviction on Big Brother 28?
Taylor nominated Dee and Drew for eviction.
The nominations didn’t matter too much, because the Power of Veto winner could change everything.
But who would win the Veto Competition and join her in the final three?
Who won the final Big Brother 28 Veto Competition?
A weird challenge stood between the four players and the Power of Veto. It was done in rounds.
The challenge required people to remember what days big events happened in the house.
If someone missed a question, they failed the round. Failing three rounds would eliminate a player.

- Dee got a strike in the first round.
- Taylor got a strike in the second round.
- Devens got a strike in the third round.
- Dee got a second strike in the fourth round.
- The fifth round gave Devens his second strike.
- Dee was eliminated in the sixth round.
- Devens was eliminated in the seventh round.
- Taylor and Drew were the only two players left.
- Taylor got a second strike in the eighth round.
- Drew won the Power of Veto in the ninth round.
Drew secured a spot in the final three by winning the Veto Competition.
A Survivor icon done on Big Brother 28
Drew won safety, but he was in a tough spot. Drew had to choose who to save and who to evict.
The Survivor icons pitched their resumes. It gave Drew a lot to think about.
During the “live” episode, Drew used the Power of Veto to save himself.
Drew voted to evict Dee Valladares.
Taylor Brown, Rick Devens, and Drew Campbell have made the final three.
