Big Brother 28 houseguest Haley Thogmartin was frequently depicted as having a “hard” or “tough” time in the game.
Due to the edit, many viewers thought she was only talking about her gameplay.
But it turns out that she was going through something far more real than that.
Haley has revealed that she was dealing with medical issues in the house, and her post-season honesty has many fans on her side now.
Big Brother 28’s Haley Thogmartin comes clean about a medical situation
Haley was recently addressing comments and questions from Big Brother fans.
“I just didn’t understand the really bad few weeks you were having,” one fan asked her on X.
That’s when Haley revealed something surprising.
“Nothing to do with game at all. I had a heart procedure in December and was having some issues with that in the house. Currently back on a heart monitor now,” she wrote.
Haley also revealed that she “can laugh about” the edit that made it seem like she was always complaining about how difficult Big Brother was.
At the time, many Big Brother fans were frustrated that it seemed like someone who was always in power was complaining about it.
“Oh. That’s actually quite serious, I hope you’re okay! How do you feel about the rough week jokes in that context?” a fan asked Haley about the situation.
“I can laugh about it!” she responded.
Some fans still aren’t coming around.
“She is making excuses she explained why it was rough and had nothing to do with a condition and was all how she was treated in the house. We have live feeds she told hg,” one person wrote.
“Bc YOURE LYING!!! OMG OF COURSE YOUD TRY YO CHANGE THE NARRATIVE!! Dum LIAR!! we WATCHED THE LIVE FEEDS!!! we KNOW WHO YOU ARE!” someone else wrote.
As a reminder, Haley finished 10th on Big Brother 28. She was eliminated during a medieval twist involving four BB alums.
