The new Survivor episode began with the fallout of Patt being voted out.
Patt was blindsided at the last Tribal Council, where one alliance was sure Danny Kilby was the target. He wasn’t.
Earlier in that same episode, Rob Antonson quit. He claimed to have an infected injury and tapped out.
Later, Rob lashed out at Survivor fans who called him a quitter. Thus is his Survivor legacy now.
Survivor 51, Episode 4 recap
After seeing the fallout from Patt’s elimination, Tree Mail revealed boats were on the way.
The two tribes arrived at a beach where Jeff Probst awaited. It was time for a Tribe Swap.
Everyone drew buffs. Two tribes would get six people, while one would have only five people. This was because Rob quit.
Here are the three new tribes:
- Toka (Yellow) – Brady, Kristin, Carter, Maggie, Thien An, and Mike.
- Savu (Purple) – Jenna, Ori, Alexis, Jelly, and Devin.
- Dina (Red) – Linnea, Christian, Sharonda, Lewis, Danny (Kilby), and Eric.
The Dina Tribe had to start over. It was a difficult endeavor. They had only a flint, machete, and pot.
Eric and Danny bonded a lot. They called each other the “dorks” of the season.
An Immunity Challenge for Survivor safety
The first two tribes to finish the Immunity Challenge would be safe. The winning tribe would get a coffee station for camp. Second place would win some iced coffee for the day.
The intense challenge required teamwork. Toka was very good at communicating. Savu was not.
Dina won the challenge. Linnea, Christian, Sharonda, Lewis, Danny (Kilby), and Eric were safe.
Toka finished second. Brady, Kristin, Carter, Maggie, Thien An, and Mike were also safe.
Savu finished last. Jenna, Ori, Alexis, Jelly, and Devin were in trouble.
Back at camp, Devin told everyone what to do. He wanted everything calm so that nobody could scramble.
Another Survivor 51 Tribal Council
Jenna, Ori, Alexis, Jelly, and Devin faced elimination at the Episode 4 Tribal Council.
They chatted a bit with Jeff Probst before jumping into the vote.
Jeff read the votes as (in order): Alexis, Jenna, Jenna, and Jenna.
Jenna Doore was the fifth person eliminated from Survivor 51.
