Nicole Thielk surprised Married at First Sight fans with the news that she was pregnant with twins.
Now she’s sharing more details about her journey to starting a family with husband Chris Thielk.
Nicole got candid during a special episode of D-List Diaries, this time, without her podcast co-hosts, Kirsten Grimes and Gina Michelletti.
The trio recently celebrated the show’s first anniversary before taking a well-needed summer break.
However, Nicole was the first to return, so she decided to kick off the first episode solo.
In the heartfelt video, titled Nicole Is Pregnant, she took followers behind the scenes of her pregnancy journey.

Nicole admitted that being a mother was not a lifelong dream until she met her now husband, Chris Thielk.
“Once I got married and found the right man, I realized there’s nothing I care about more than building a family with this man,” she shared.
Not wanting to wait too long since she was 35 and Chris was 39, the duo decided it was time to start trying.
Things didn’t happen immediately for the duo, and after six months of trying, Nicole visited a fertility clinic and later did a series of tests.
The MAFS Season 16 couple got the okay to try again, and after experiencing some odd symptoms, Nicole later discovered she was pregnant.

Nicole shared the moment during the first ultrasound when she and Chris realized they were having two babies.
“When I tell you… We looked at each other, jaws on the floor, silent– and we are never silent– shared the MAFS star.
Once the shock wore off, Nicole and Chris shared the good news with their family and friends.
Meanwhile, the pregnant 35-year-old is looking on the bright side, since she and Chris had discussed having two kids.
“We’re getting our two kids and we’re very beyond blessed and grateful,” she said. “And the positive is, I only have to be pregnant once.”
