The latest week of Big Brother 27 has been chaotic, and the Veto Ceremony was no exception. More chaos hit the Big Brother Live Feeds ahead of the meeting, with players scrambling to avoid the block, weigh in on a possible target, or position themselves to use a secret power.
As a reminder, Zach has the final secret power on Big Brother 27. He acquired it on Day 1, giving him the chance to find safety at the Veto Ceremony. If he found himself on the block at the end of the Veto Ceremony, Zach could use his $10,000 prize to buy his safety from the Head of Household.

Ava Pearl is the HOH this week, and she nominated Keanu, Zach, and Vince for eviction. She also wanted to target Ashley, but got talked out of it by Mickey and Will. Later, Ava revealed that she would like to use Morgan as a possible replacement nominee.
Katherine won the Power of Veto, securing her safety for the week. She pondered various options, including saving someone from the block and giving Ava a chance to nominate Morgan. Meanwhile, Ava had assured Rachel that she was safe for the week, giving the BB13 winner a restful week. Here are the prizes and punishments from the Veto Competition.
A Veto Ceremony and the final Week 5 nominees
Katherine hosted the Veto Ceremony on Monday (August 11).
Katherine did not use the Power of Veto.
Ava did not get to name a replacement nominee, and she seems frustrated about it.
Zach kept his power a secret. He remains on the block, with a feeling that he has the votes to stay.
The final nominees for the week are Keanu, Vince, and Zach. That is, unless Zach can still enact his power. It was written in the rules that he could use his power if he remained on the block after the Veto Ceremony, so we shall see if there is more drama to come.
