When does Married at First Sight Season 20 start? Here’s what we know

The first Married at First Sight season to air on Peacock has already ended, marking a new era for the reality TV experiment. Unlike previous seasons, which aired on Lifetime, Season 19 didn’t drag on. With a premiere date of October 25 and a finale that aired on November 30, it was a “blink, and you missed it” kind of season.

Some MAFS fans raved about the new season and its format, while others were very vocal about their desire for the show to return to its original network and the long, drawn-out seasons that we have seen in the past.

When MAFS Season 20 makes its debut, we can expect a repeat of the previous season so it’s a good idea to be prepared for premiere day, which has yet to be announced. What we do know is that Peacock picked up the show for Seasons 19-21 and that Season 20 is confirmed to debut in 2026.

Pastor Cal Robertson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Dr. Pia Holec are all expected to make their return as experts for Season 20. Dr. Pepper Schwartz has been a part of Married at First Sight since its first season and has become a recognizable presence on the show. Pastor Call joined her as an expert in Season 4 and has also been on MAFS ever since. The newest member of the expert panel is Dr. Pia, who joined in Season 15, replacing Dr. Viviana Coles.

In addition to not knowing the exact premiere date for Season 20 of Married at First Sight, we also don’t know which city it will be filmed in yet. MAFS rumors suggest the upcoming season will feature the city of Seattle, Washington. However, future seasons have been planned for Kansas City, Phoenix, and Las Vegas in addition to Seattle, so they may surprise us.

MAFS reunion host Kevin Frazier also teased in a sneak peek of Season 20 that there will be “more couples than ever.” That should be interesting but also a bit alarming, as MAFS viewers have already expressed concern about keeping up with five couples, and now, we’re expecting at least six couples to be married when the new season begins.

We’ll keep you updated when new details about Married at First Sight are shared.
