The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna has backtracked from calling Colton Underwood “a stalker,” and has asked fans to lay off of him.
Lisa and Colton are on The Traitors 4. In a recent episode, Colton made it clear that he was targeting Lisa. She didn’t take kindly to it and lashed out in the castle.
Later, Lisa took to social media, responding to a fan comment and calling Colton “a stalker” due to something in his past. This led to intense backlash against Colton. There was so much backlash that the show had to respond.
The Traitors issued an anti-bullying statement. In it, they pleaded for harassment to stop both on- and off-screen. It was a shocking moment, especially since it differed from how the show responded in the past.
As a point of reference, Colton had a restraining order against him from his former fiancée. It happened after his season on The Bachelor, and he was accused of stalking Cassie Randolph.
Lisa Rinna asks fans to back off from Colton Underwood
In a new video, the RHOBH star asked viewers to leave Colton alone. She also reminded everyone that it is just a game, even though she seemed to take things quite personally herself.
“Hi, guys. Okay, so it’s come to my attention that my post that I responded to in my Housewife mode is taking on a life of its own and it’s causing real problems for Colton and I do not want this because Colton and I are great,” Lisa Rinna stated in a social media video.
“He was a great and is a great nemesis for me on the show in the game,” the star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills added. “Now, as you know, if you ask me to be a Housewife I’ll bring it to you, right? That’s what I was doing, all in the name of the game. But just so you know, I am totally great with Colton. I have been texting with him. We talk. Everything is great.”
Later, Lisa shared a second video to elaborate.
“The fact that the backlash is happening, I feel horrible about because I don’t want to hurt anybody,” Lisa posted on Saturday.
“I am here to play the game, and to have fun, and Colton is a great nemesis for me. We had so much fun. I’ve only always had a great time with him. So please guys, be gentle. It’s a game. It’s a TV show. We’re all doing the best we can. Don’t send death threats or do anything to jeopardize somebody’s family,” her video continued.
“We had so much fun doing it. It was really hard. And, listen, it’s all part of the game. Even after. So everyone, take a deep breath and just know that everything is great. It’s a game. It is a game. Try to watch it like a sporting event, you know? Like if you were watching football or wrestling, and just be gentle with everybody, cause everyone is doing the best they can,” Lisa finished.

We will see Lisa Rinna and the other Housewives on the Reunion Show for The Traitors 4. Colton Underwood, Michael Rapaport, and Porsha Williams will also attend.
Porsha Williams recently shaded Lisa for her behavior on the show. It could lead to some fireworks from the ladies on finale night.
