One Chicago will soon drop its 2026 crossover, and fans have many reasons to be worried.
Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. will share the same storyline on Wednesday, March 4.
The three-hour event marks the return of the One Chicago shows after the Winter Olympics end.
In a new promo for the event, a huge explosion takes place at a location that looks like Chicago Med. And several main characters from Chicago Fire are in the middle of it.
Stella Kidd (played by Miranda Rae Mayo) and Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) seem to be caught in the explosion. And fans have every right to be worried.
Herrmann has been (again) talking retirement. But the writers wouldn’t just kill him off, would they?
Additionally, for Mouch (Randall McHolland) to return, he would need a spot, right? Could that put Kidd in danger?
Fire crossover event synopsis
The night begins with Chicago Fire at 8/7c. It’s a shift from having Chicago Med open the night.
“Firehouse 51 is called to an airfield when a passenger jet suddenly goes silent mid-air, triggering a high-stakes emergency; their discovery cracks open a bigger and deadlier mystery with consequences that could put countless lives in jeopardy,” reads the Fire synopsis for March 4.
Med crossover event synopsis
Med picks up the baton at 9/8c on March 4.
“The doctors at Gaffney are thrust into a race against time as they work to unravel a baffling medical mystery linked to the passenger jet, while lives hang in the balance,” reads the Med synopsis for March 4.
P.D. crossover event synopsis
The night ends with Chicago P.D. at 10/9c.
“An airfield emergency triggers a deeper mystery involving a passenger plane, propelling the Intelligence Unit into a high-stakes pursuit of the culprit, all under the sharp eye of the FBI,” reads the P.D. synopsis for March 4.
One Chicago crossover promo
Below is the new full-length promo for the big One Chicago crossover. We see lots of action, including two famous faces returning to the Chicago P.D. cast. However, are they there to soften the blow of characters dying?
Anything could happen, so don’t miss the big night!
More from the One Chicago shows
A huge character exit will hit Fire this season. Consequently, drama is coming at Firehouse 51.
Fans are worried that LaRoyce Hawkins is leaving the P.D. cast. He has played Officer Kevin Atwater for years, but recent developments have caused some worry.
Here’s an update on what happened with Ruzek on P.D. Patrick John Flueger plays Officer Adam Ruzek on the Chicago P.D. cast, but the character (and actor) had been MIA.
