Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher are the only Below Deck boatmance still going strong. The hit yachting franchise has featured several boatmances, but Nathan and Gael are the only ones still together.
In fact, the Below Deck Med alums just welcomed their first child together in June. Following the news that they are officially parents to a son, Captain Sany Yawn weighed in on their relationship.
Captain Sandy admitted to People magazine that Gael and Nathan are the real deal.
“It was like they were meant to be together,” the captain expressed to the outlet.
Below Deck Med fans will recall that Nathan and Gael left the show together but split after a few months. They were not together when they filmed the Below Deck Med Season 9 After Show.
However, the couple announced they were back together days after the Below Deck Med Season 9 finale. Captain Sandy gave insight into how they reunited.
“I watched Nathan over the years I’ve been with him. I wondered what happened to him and Gael. When he came back this season, I was like, ‘Where is she?’ They went their different ways and then I fired someone, and she was available. The next thing you know…” Captain Sandy told People magazine.
That’s right, Below Deck Med fans will get to watch Gael and Nathan’s reunion play out on-screen when Season 10 hits Bravo airwaves this fall.
Captain Sandy echoed her sentiment that the couple is perfect together when Gael shared a birthday Instagram post to Nathan. The captain popped up in the comments section to write, “Match made from Heaven.”
In March, the new parents shocked fans with their pregnancy news. They have shared their journey via social media, including the big general reveal. Valentine’s Day looked a lot different for the couple as they learned they were expecting a boy.
Nathan and Gael announced via Instagram Stories that their precious angel had arrived in June.
Below Deck Med is currently on hiatus on Bravo. Seasons 1-9 are streaming on Peacock.
