Below Deck star Kate Chastain relishes being a Supervillain

Below Deck has its first Supervillain. That may seem like a term that doesn’t fit a show about luxury experiences on superyachts. But here we are.

Kate Chastain, who spent many years as the Chief Stew on Below Deck, has ventured to various other reality TV shows. That includes appearing on two seasons of The Traitors.

Now, Kate is starring in House of Villains 3. This Peacock show brings villains from various other shows and forces them to live together under one roof.

Some of the villains are pretty notorious, like Tyson Apostol from Survivor and Tom Sandoval from his Bravo shows. But Kate seems to fit right in. And she loves it.

Each episode features a challenge to decide the latest Supervillain. That person then decides the week’s nominees, with someone eventually voted out.

Kate recently became the Supervillain for the first time. She had the producers remodel a room in the house so that she could interrogate other players while placing them in the spotlight.

Kate Chastain is making House of Villains her own

While Kate was the Supervillain, she succeeded in getting two of her targets out of the house. One got sick (Ashley Mitchell from The Challenge), but was removed from the game after Kate nominated her.

Later that same week, the house voted out another Kate target (Johnny Middlebrooks from Love Island USA and The Challenge). Now, Kate and her close allies are in a prime position.

Only seven people remain in the game. They are Kate, Paul Abrahamian from Big Brother, Tyson Apostol from Survivor, Drita D’Avanzo from Mob Wives, Tiffany “New York” Pollard from Flavor of Love, Christine Quinn from Selling Sunset, and Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules.

A new episode arrives each Thursday night on Peacock. Previous episodes are also streaming on the service.

As the season moves forward, Kate is in a prime position. She may need to win some challenges to keep surviving, but it sure would be fun to see the Below Deck star win the season.

If you love Kate Chastain, then make sure you tune in for House of Villains 3. She’s in her element. And her confessional comments are television gold, much like they were on Below Deck.
