Below Deck tender catches fire, video leaked

A Below Deck transport vessel caught fire on the open waters.

Long-time viewers of the show know that these transport vessels are called tenders.

Tenders are used to transport people or goods to and from the luxury yachts.

Often, one or two are towed behind the luxury yachts. On some of the boats, the tenders are stored on deck when not in use.

A Below Deck fire was reported

TMZ shared an intense video of the fire. From the looks of things, the tender is going to be a complete loss.

“EXCLUSIVE: It was a dramatic day at sea for ‘Below Deck’ when one of the show’s transport vessels caught fire on the open waters … and we have the scary footage,” reads an X post.

“Working on the open ocean is incredibly dangerous, and maritime emergencies are no joke. Sending massive love to the entire production team for handling such a terrifying situation safely,” one fan commented.

Update on the Below Deck fire

The great news is that TMZ reported there were no injuries.

It is also unclear what started the fire, as the footage was just released.

The fire reportedly happened on April 24 in Mo’orea. That’s an island near Bora Bora.

Additional good news is that the yacht didn’t suffer any damage, even though the tender looks to be a total loss.

This will likely lead to a dramatic storyline during a future episode(s).

If this is filming for the next season of Below Deck, Captain Kerry Titheradge likely returned.

The cast routinely rotates, though, so it’s unclear who would be working with him. Stay tuned on that.

Captain Titheradge’s Season 12 crew was Chief Stew Fraser Olender, Chef Anthony Iracane, Rainbeau de Roos, Solène Favreau, Barbara Kulaif, Kyle Stillie, Jess Theron, Damo Yorg, and Bosun Hugo Ortega.

Bravo confirmed that Below Deck returns to television with Season 13 in 2026. The fire may have also revealed where they were secretly filming.

The latest season of Below Deck Down Under has also been airing on Bravo on Monday nights.

Down Under Season 4 features Captain Jason Chambers, Chef Ben Robinson, Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, and Second Officer João Franco.

Additionally, previous seasons of the hit Bravo shows are streaming on Peacock.

Below Deck news stories

Below Deck’s Captain Sandy Yawn was recently scammed: “All of our money – Gone,” she stated.

Bravo star Aesha Scott recently got married. The fun chief stew locked it up with her long-time beau.

Also, Daisy Kelliher shared photos of having a broken nose fixed. The Down Under star provided before-and-after images. It was pretty intense.
