Six days after Big Brother 27 began, we finally know the Week 1 nominees.
For CBS viewers who didn’t know it yet, the new season started on July 8.
The July 10 premiere recapped part of what happened, but much was left up in the air.
During the second episode, we finally learned who got nominated by the first Head of Household.
We also learned the name of the Accomplice. One mystery is solved. More to come!
The first HOH of Big Brother 27
As a reminder, Jimmy, Adrian, Ashley, and Vince competed in the first Head of Household Competition.
Jimmy won a first-day challenge that gave him the power to select the four competitors.
Vince won the HOH Competition, giving him power and safety during Week 1.
After Vince secured that power, host Julie Chen Moonves revealed a twist was returning from BB26.
Each week will have three nominees again this season. The final nominees from the week will battle in a competition called BB Blockbuster. One person will gain safety, and two will face eviction.
Week 1 Nominations on Big Brother 2025
Before nominations, it was revealed that the first week’s Have-Nots would be safe from eviction.
Rachel was named the first Have-Not, and she got to pick the next safe person. Rachel picked Will to be safe.
Will picked Zach to be safe, and Zach picked Ava to be safe.
To recap, Rachel, Will, Zach, and Ava are the Week 1 Have-Nots and safe from eviction.

Who did Vince nominate for eviction on BB27 Week 1?
Showergate! Ashley took a two-hour shower in the HOH bathroom on the first day, and Vince (the HOH) had to wait. This led many people to put up her name as a possible nominee. As he was meeting with other folks, Ashley was shown interrupting him a lot.
Kelley volunteered to go up on the block to hide her alliance with Vince. He loved the idea. But he wanted to protect her.
Vince nominated Zae, Amy, and Ashley for eviction. Most of the house wanted Ashley nominated, and Amy was doing too much to defend her (in Vince’s eyes).
Zach gets a special power upgrade
Host Julie Chen Moonves teased that Zach got a game-changing power when he won that $10,000 on the first day. It turns out he can use that money to buy himself safety. Zach can pay the HOH $10,000 to escape the block if he is at risk following the Veto Meeting. The HOH must accept the money and must name a replacement nominee. This power is good until the jury phase.
