A new Big Brother 28 episode aired on Wednesday night. Viewers would find out the final nominees for eviction.
The night began with a long recap of what we knew, including Kamu becoming HOH and then Devens winning the BB28 Fan Vote.
Devens entered the Time Capsule and left with the Diamond Power of Veto. He has a huge power moving forward.
Kamu then nominated Lyric, La Trice, and Mallory. But he told most people that Jason was the real target.
Big Brother 28, Episode 11 recap
The Nomination Ceremony ended as the new footage began.
Many Diary Room sessions opened the night.
Kamu explained his nominees, confirming again that his real target was Jason.
Mallory spoke about how she hated being in this position again; this time next to her best friend in the game (Lyric).
Lyric talked about putting on a strong face, but being frustrated about being a pawn again. She then dedicated her fight to Rome.
An upset La Trice didn’t hold back. She said she expected more from Kamu and that she was about to show people how she is a fighter.
Later, Kamu met with Lyric and explained how he wanted to work with her. He also promised to take her down if he won the Power of Veto.
Jason spoke with Taylor and La Trice, saying he knew they were really targeting him.
Jason made fun of Kamu in his own Diary Room session about the HOH being messy. La Trice was shocked again, and she didn’t like that her friend Jason was a target.
Mallory went to Kamu to “show face” even though she really didn’t like being on the block. Kamu said he respected her and revealed that Jason was the target.
Kamu told the audience that Mallory was the backup plan to go home.
More from the July 29 Big Brother episode
Mallory and Lyric cried together about being on the block next to each other. We then got some silly flashbacks to Rome speaking.
A segment was shown about Devens telling people he didn’t have a power. But he did tell Dee. He didn’t even let Angela know.
Drew thought Jason had a power.
Jason told Kamu that if he won the Power of Veto, he would do what Kamu said to do with it.
Jason later promised Mallory he would save her from the block if he won the POV.
Mallory was keen to know that Jason tells everyone what they want to hear.
The Week 3 Power of Veto results
Kamu drew Haley’s chip at the Veto Meeting. Then he drew Lala’s chip. This meant she could choose anyone to play. She went with Jason.
Kamu, Lyric, La Trice, Mallory, Jason, and Haley would play in the Veto Competition.
The challenge had people spin around before using a board to hit balls into a hill of point values. They did it in rounds.
- Mallory challenged La Trice in the first round. Mallory easily beat a dizzy La Trice (68-0).
- Mallory picked Jason to play. Jason challenged Kamu. Kamu beat Jason (72-62).
- Kamu picked Haley to play. Haley challenged Lyric. Lyric beat Haley easily.
- Lyric picked Mallory to play. Mallory challenged Kamu. Mallory beat Kamu (68-67).
- It was Lyric vs Mallory for the Power of Veto. Lyric won the Golden Power of Veto (82-47)
Drama and tears and a Tea Party
Jason felt the house had two trios running things. One trio he spotted was Dee, Devens, and Angela. The other trio was Chuk, Kamu, and Haley. Jason planned to pit them against each other. It didn’t go well.
A Tea Party for the houseguests became the stage for Kamu to call out Jason on everything.
Mallory served as the host. Barrett and Drew wore dresses. Kamu prepped for a takedown. Everyone dressed up, and a spread was provided to enjoy.
Shortly after everyone was settled in, Kamu started in with a disarming speech that devolved into calling out Jason. He claimed that he was going to name Jason as the replacement nominee because he broke ad eal. But everyone in the house already knew that Jason was always the plan as a replacement.
It got real awkward, real fast. Most people opted to stay silent. Nobody wanted to get between Kamu and Jason. La Trice ended up frustrated with Kamu, while Angela pretended to be more upset with Jason.
Dee spoke in a Diary Room session about how she enjoyed Kamu making himself a bigger (future) target.
Kamu thought he “won” the Tea Party. Wow, was he wrong in that take. It was entirely unnecessary.
Here is a link to a full video of the Tea Party. It was a long one, with far too much footage for one episode.
Later, Jason took a page from Big Brother 19 winner Josh Martinez.
Jason went into a pots-and-pans routine. He spilled his own tea with the kettle.
Spoilers from the Veto Ceremony
The POV was used (of course). Lyric saved herself from the block.
Kamu named Jason as the replacement nominee.
The final nominees for the week are Jason, Mallory, and La Trice.
