Big Brother 28 schedule: Ready for 90-minute episodes?

The Big Brother 28 schedule has been revealed for this summer.

The great news is that there are many 90-minute episodes to get viewers deeply involved in the new season.

As previously noted by Tea on TV, the BB28 start date falls on Thursday, July 9.

The Fourth of July holiday will hit earlier that month, so when the BB28 cast begins playing the game, they have a lot of runway until the fall television schedule arrives.

Yes, Big Brother: Unlocked will also return. The companion show was hosted last year by BB24 winner Taylor Hale and BB16 winner Derrick Levasseur. We don’t know if they are returning.

What is the Big Brother 28 episode schedule?

New BB28 episodes air on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays this year.

Big Brother: Unlocked will air on Fridays.

Below is the breakdown of the early Big Brother 28 episode schedule. It includes many 90-minute episodes, as well as an extended season premiere.

Ready for some potential bad news? CBS may tape the season premiere. They did not announce a live premiere this year. So the move-in date may be a few days earlier than the first episode.

  • Thursday, July 9: BB28 season premiere at 8/7c (90 minutes).
  • Friday, July 10: Big Brother: Unlocked debuts.
  • Sunday, July 12: First Sunday episode at 8/7c (90 minutes).
  • Wednesday, July 15: First Wednesday episode at 8/7c (90 minutes).
  • Thursday, July 16: Possible first eviction at 8/7c (down to 60 minutes).
  • Sunday, July 19: 8/7c (down to 60 minutes).
  • Wednesday, July 22: 8/7c (90 minutes).
  • Thursday, July 23: 8/7c (60 minutes).
  • Sunday, July 26: 8/7c (60 minutes).
  • Wednesday, July 29: 8/7c (90 minutes).
  • Thursday, July 30: 8/7c (60 minutes).

That wraps up the first month of episodes. Last year, Big Brother: Unlocked aired once every two weeks. If it continues following that schedule, the second episode will arrive on July 24. Stay tuned for updates on that portion of the schedule.

Additionally, we expect the Big Brother Live Feeds to turn on late on July 9. After the West Coast has seen the season premiere, viewers should get to see behind the curtain again. How many days will we have to catch up on, though? That’s a key question.
