These Big Brother 28 spoilers come from Day 12, as the players head deep into Week 2 of the season.
It’s been a busy 48 hours since Ashley was sent home, including a huge blowup at the Week 2 Nomination Ceremony.
Chaos has taken over the house, making for a really competitive Veto Competition on Saturday (July 18).
Some fans may see this as more of the same, because the alliance that was in power in the first week has stayed in control.
Big Brother 28 spoilers from Day 12 in the house
Saturday, July 18 marks Day 12 of the new season. We have 16 houseguests left competing for the $750,000 prize.
The most important piece of news following Ashley’s goodbye is that Rick Devens is the new Head of Household.
Devens keeps the reality icons safe, as he won’t target Dee or Angela this week.
Instead of backtracking, the reality icons only strengthened their position in the game. They helped form a new mega-alliance.
The Toolshed alliance is Devens, Dee, Angela, Barrett, Chuk, Drew, Haley, and Kamu.
And they want to get out Rome and Jason.
Drew continues bringing back info from his other friendships in the house. He revealed that Jason and Rome had been conspiring against the icons, and especially Devens.
As viewers saw on a recent episode, Jason has also been using Angela by manipulating her feelings. Well, he got caught. And everything crashed.
Nominations, a fight, and house drama
Ahead of the Nomination Ceremony, Jason and Rome were already getting nervous. And they were right to be. A meeting of the Toolshed alliance spilled all their secrets. And it gave Devens a target.
Devens nominated Lyric, Melody, and Jason. He wants to “backdoor” Rome, and yes, we at Tea on TV know they are using the term wrong. You can’t backdoor anyone with this new BB Blockbuster format.
But back to the point. If someone escapes the block, Rome is the replacement nominee and likely going home. If the nominations stay the same, Jason is the one going home. And that all led to a blowup at the Nomination Ceremony that we saw on the Live Feeds.

The feeds have been filled with tears. Jason and Rome have been crying a lot over the past 24 hours. Will it lead to some sympathy votes from the rest of the house?
La Trice has been taking it all very hard. She too has been crying due to all the fighting taking place around her.
Mallory and Melody plan to vote out Jason if Rome joins him on the block.

The Rome and Lyric showmance continues, but there are some cracks in it.
Rome wants to be in the Veto Competition so he can win and save Lyric. That would force Devens to replace Lyric with someone other than Rome. But who?
Players will be drawn for the Veto Competition early on Day 12, with the six players battling it out later in the day. This is an extremely important Power of Veto.
