A new Big Brother: All-Stars season? That’s the latest tease.
As Tea on TV has previously reported, CBS has already ordered new seasons of the hit show.
Ratings went higher during BB28, and the show should be around for a while.
The producers definitely noticed the ratings went up with the “icons” twist.
So it’s safe to assume they may steer into it for BB29 and BB30.
But that’s not all.
Rumors about a Big Brother: All-Stars season
Big Brother 30 is rumored to be a new Big Brother: All-Stars season. At least that’s what The U.S. Sun claims.
The publication claims a CBS source is spilling the hot tea.
Take it all with a grain of salt, but it’s always fun to check out the rumors.
“It will be an all-star season with some of the most iconic vets of the game,” their source shared. “The budget will be bigger, and they want to increase the prize money too to $1 million. They want it to be the biggest season of Big Brother yet.”
Yes, you read that right. Part of the rumor is that the prize money could be increased. BB23 was the first season at $750,000 after sitting at $500,000 for years.
Additionally, the rumor states the producers want to treat it the same way Survivor producers did with their 50th season.
Could we (the fans) even vote on the BB30 cast? That would be fun; even though that could lead to some odd choices.
The show has done two previous All-Stars seasons. Mike “Boogie” Malin won BB7, and Cody Calafiore won BB22.
An inherent problem with these All-Stars seasons is the pre-gaming. Hopefully, if the producers do lean into doing All-Stars again, they have figured out a way to solve the issue.
Increasing the prize should also help entice more former houseguests to return. We hope to hear more details on this BB30 endeavor, but remember: take it with a grain of salt until we hear any confirmation.
