Big Brother alums and fans react to Julie doing new TikTok trend

Even Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves is getting in on the new TikTok trend. And she did so with a surprising guest-star in her video.

All over TikTok, people are making 4 Non Blondes and their hit What’s Up popular again. It’s all part of a new mash-up, with Nicki Minaj’s Beez in the Trap serving as the second part.

Streaming numbers for each artist have shot up over the past few days, especially with all the celebrities participating in the trend.

In each video, someone begins singing the chorus of What’s Up as the camera pans to someone standing behind them. That second person then starts in with lyrics from Beez in the Trap.

It’s a fun trend that celebrities across the genre have taken on, and today it got to Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves.

Julie Chen Moonves takes on TikTok trend

“I SAID HEY! ✌🏼😆🐝,” reads the caption of Julie’s new video.

In the footage, Julie begins singing What’s Up, and the camera swivels to reveal that it’s country star and reality TV host Blake Shelton singing with her. Having Blake do the Beez in the Trap part is pretty classic, but many fans had hoped Julie would take on that role.

Of course, the Big Brother alums have shown up in droves to sing the praises of Julie.

“The commitment from Julie 10/10,” wrote Big Brother 23 winner Xavier Prather.

“I needed Julie to do the Nicki party badly,” noted Derek Frazier from BB23.

“The collab I never knew I needed 😆❤️,” commented a BB fan.

Below is Julie’s version of the TikTok trend. How do you think she did? Who would you like to see doing it next?

A response from 4 Non Blondes has even been posted on social media.

“We can’t believe it… this trend is bringing chaos AND costumes,” the group posted on a montage video.

Producers addressed Big Brother: Unlocked Season 2. The new spin-off aired on Friday nights during the BB27 summer. It featured alums doing bits and breaking down the show.

Vince Panaro from BB27 was hanging out with Paul from BB18 and BB19. Paul Abrahamian and Vince each finished as the runner-up on their Big Brother seasons.

We will see Big Brother alums on The Traitors 4. The former houseguests join celebrities from Survivor, The Real Housewives, and Bachelor Nation. But can a BB alum finally win the show?
