Big Brother fans worried about houseguest quitting

Online chatter keeps coming back to a Big Brother 27 cast member possibly wanting to quit. It’s about that time of the season when houseguests miss their families, and some people don’t mind getting sent home. Last summer, it was Kenney Kelley, a 52-year-old former cop, who complained about being away from his family and quit trying in Week 3. Kenney asked to be voted out. And he got his wish.

This year, it’s Will Williams who may have had enough already. Will got nominated again in Week 3, with the latest Head of Household (Lauren Domingue) putting him on the block with the excuse that he had been nominated before. Will is tired of being on the block as a pawn, which is exactly what happened in Week 2 after Keanu Soto won the Power of Veto.

Previously, Will had been spotted speaking on the live feeds about how it was harder than he thought it would be to chat with the younger players. Indeed, older players oftentimes end up on islands during Big Brother seasons, and the Summer 2025 season is no exception. It’s a primary reason Amy Bingham was sent home in Week 2. Now Will is on that island.

Fans split on houseguests quitting

“So the last couple days I’ve been thinking a lot,” a Big Brother fan quoted Will on the live feeds. “Help I think Will is quitting,” they added to that post. From there, many additional fans posted on social media about how they thought Will had had enough and that he might self-evict. Only time will tell if he wanted to quit.

“Will should’ve quit last week so Amy could’ve stayed.. I hate that he’s screwing over his allies when the numbers are soooo important right now. #bb27,” wrote one fan.

“I’m sorry yes Will shouldn’t be quitting…but anyone saying he’s wrong for blaming it on age is just not looking at the facts. Every recent season the older HGs are put up as early targets or pawns almost no matter what (minus Cirie ig). #bb27,” wrote an understanding fan.

Some jokes were also made about Rachel Reilly possibly helping keep Will around and talking him down from wanting to self-evict. It’s also important to point out that self-evicting can cause a person to lose their stipend, which is why sometimes people (like Kenney last year) just tell people to vote them out.

“When rachel gives will the “i’ve been there before” talk and will gets the urge to not quit anymore #BB27,” a fan posted.

Rachel Reilly may have cheated. Fellow houseguests threw her under the bus. Was it a ploy for attention on the feeds?

Makensy and Matt from BB26 provided a relationship update. The pair linked up during the 2024 season. But it wasn’t until after the season that they started dating. Now we have an update on their situation.

Do you have an opinion on houseguests quitting? Should Will just tough it out? Stay tuned as Week 4 begins on Thursday night! And should they send Will home to see his family?
