The Big Brother 26 season yielded two showmances, with one happening during the season and one becoming official after the season. Tucker Des Lauriers and Rubina Bernabe were hot and heavy during the season, but they went their separate ways after trying to keep things going in the real world. Makensy Manbeck and Matt Hardeman flirted a bit, but Matt went home in Week 1, forcing them apart for a while.
Matt and Makensy went Instagram official shortly after the Big Brother 26 season. They began spending much more time together, and their romance dominated their respective social media accounts. As a quick reminder, Makensy finished as the runner-up on their season. She won the second-place prize as Chelsie Baham was named the BB26 winner.
Are Matt and Makensy still together?
Makensy shared a new Reel that provides an update on their relationship. In the first part of a video, Matt and Makensy are shown kissing in a car. It then progresses into more silliness from the couple, including a photo session and a night out together. “A night in our lives recently,” reads the caption to their fun video. Of course, it also comes to an end as they allude to watching a new episode of Big Brother in bed.
Matt also shared a post celebrating the first anniversary of meeting Makensy.
“Can’t believe A YEAR AGO TODAY, my lil boo thang and I met for the very first time!! 🤯 What’s so crazy about now being apart of the Big Brother community as a viewer a year later is truly feeling how little time we actually spent together?!” Matt wrote.
