The houseguests are fresh off the Double Eviction episode, and the game went into hyperdrive.

Rick Devens releases the Pharaoh’s Curse on Big Brother 28
A button was placed in the Big Brother 28 house. If someone pressed it, they would win $10,000. But it would also unleash a curse on the house.
Devens was seen celebrating in the room with the button, secretly winning a cool $10,000.
Other houseguests discussed pressing the button, but they didn’t get the money, leading them to believe someone else hit it first.
So what’s the curse? It appears to be a shortened Big Brother week. Possibly with someone getting eliminated/evicted by Sunday. Stay tuned!
Competing for Head of Household
Four people competed in the latest Head of Household Competition. It happened early Friday morning (September 18). The challenge was stacking small things with oversized tweezers.
Devens, Drew, Dee, and Taylor competed. Melody had to watch because she was the outgoing HOH.

Who is the new Big Brother 28 Head of Household?
Devens was ahead and close to winning the challenge when the feeds went down. It appeared that he was about to become the new Head of Household.
It’s fun that the producers let fans watch so much of the challenge on the feeds, even though most of the West Coast was still sleeping.
We think Devens is the HOH, but stay tuned for updates and a confirmation when the feeds return.
If Devens is HOH, he will need to nominate two of the remaining players. His choices are slim since his only remaining competition is Melody, Dee, Drew, and Taylor.
Update at 8:45 am PT (house time): Feeds returned. No HOH confirmation yet. Everyone sleeping. Might be a while before we learn specifics on how HOH Comp ended.
Update at 1 pm PT (house time): Houseguests have slept most of the day away after Double Eviction and a late night.
Confirmed: Devens is the HOH again.
