The Big Brother Live Feeds revealed a lot over the past few days, including what happened at the Week 2 Veto Competition. Jimmy became the second Head of Household this summer, giving him the power to make a big move. But his nominations weren’t seen as that impressive. Jimmy nominated Keanu, Kelley, and Adrian. The trio would have a chance to save themselves later, especially since two of them possessed powers.
Keanu used his power, which gave him a second chance at winning the Power of Veto. Kaycee Clark from the Big Brother 20 cast entered the house. She claimed the sixth spot in the Veto Competition, joining Jimmy, Keanu, Kelley, Adrian, and Ava. If Kaycee won the Power of Veto, she would take home a cash prize, and the POV would go to Keanu.
Mickey let things progress, deciding not to overthrow the HOH and let things play out. Her power could be crucial next week, and it remains effective until the jury phase begins. For now, she needs to keep from becoming a replacement nominee at the upcoming Veto Meeting. And that Veto Meeting (on July 21) is going to be a spicy one.
Who won the Power of Veto, and what happens next?
Kaycee won the Power of Veto. She proved her skills at these challenges when she won BB20, and she has continued to find success on The Challenge. Now, Keanu will take himself off the block at the Monday Veto Meeting. That forces Jimmy to name a replacement nominee. But that’s not all.
Kelley’s power allows her to play in another challenge and possibly win a different Power of Veto. If Kelley wins, it means she has to be replaced by Jimmy after the Veto Meeting. But what if she tosses in a grenade and saves Adrian from the block? She has joked about doing exactly that, but we think it is unlikely.
Houseguests have been pushing Vinny as a replacement nominee. Rachel hinted she would lead the charge. Later, she was spotted creating a three-person alliance with Vinny and Jimmy. Meanwhile, Vinny was pushing for Ashley to become a replacement nominee, putting her on the block for a second straight week.
The Veto Meeting is on Monday, which is also when Kelley has to announce if she is using her power. Vinny will first have to replace Keanu (who will save himself), and then Kelley will have the floor.
