This is Barrett’s first time in power, and he wanted to make some big moves.
At his Nomination Ceremony, Barrett nominated Dee, Devens, and Angela.
Targeting the three reality TV icons could have consequences later, but right now he is adding to his resume.

Barrett told Drew and Melody that they were safe for the week. It was good news for them, and they had consecutive weeks of feeling safe in the game.
This left very few people who could see the block, and the icons did everything they could to shift attention away from them. That included Dee revealing that she had lied to Barrett about her BB Bribe. It didn’t go as intended, because now Barrett may never trust her the same way again.
Meanwhile, Barrett and Yash became closer, and this was a good time for him to strengthen that alliance.
Barrett later picked Yash to play in the Veto Competition, while Angela picked Taylor. Only Melody and Drew sat it out.
The challenge was BB Comics, which took nearly all of Saturday (September 5) to complete.
Yash won the Power of Veto, and it sounds like Devens was a close second. This is a loss he could regret later on.
