Chicago Fire season finale details revealed

Details about the Chicago Fire season finale have been revealed.

NBC has also teased that a character is returning to the show, but which one?

As previously reported by Tea on TV, the big night of One Chicago finales arrives on Wednesday, May 13.

Thus wraps up Season 14 for Fire, with many questions lingering about the leadership structure.

Chicago Fire recently said goodbye to Chief Dom Pascal. Dermot Mulroney joined the show as Pascal, who replaced Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) at Firehouse 51.

Then, Battalion Chief Andre Hopkins (played by Rob Morgan) joined the fold. Hopkins has it in for Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), raising the stakes for the firehouse.

Chicago Fire season finale synopsis

“Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) welcome a surprise visitor. Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Cindy (Robyn Coffin) renew their vows. Mouch (Christian Stolte) receives some encouraging news,” reads the full synopsis for the Chicago Fire season finale.

Chicago Fire Season 14, Episode 21 is titled Thank You. But who is being thanked? And who is the “surprise visitor” tagged in the synopsis?

Could the return be as simple as Tom Van Meter (Tim Hopper), the former OFI boss? Or maybe Pascal returns to offer some help?

Tea on TV hopes we are about to see Eamonn Walker as a guest star on the final episode of the season. Wallace Boden still works for the CFD, and he might have the pull to keep Severide in his job.

A trailer for the finale will be revealed on the evening of May 6. That’s when we should have more details about the upcoming drama. So stay tuned for that!

Information on the Chicago Fire May 6 episode

“Severide is forced to crack open a cold case buried for decades; a routine call hits too close to home for Novak,” reads the synopsis for the May 6 episode.

The new episode is titled Speak of the Devil (14×20). It likely has Severide and Hopkins butting heads again.

Below is the TV promo for the May 6 episode. We get some action, but very little information about what will happen.
