Finally! A full One Chicago crossover event has been announced. We get to see a night where Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. all deal with one overarching story.
As previously reported by Tea on TV, a mini-crossover was announced for January 21. During that one, a main character from Med popped by Fire for some fun.
But now we get the real deal. In the past, some of these crossovers have been extremely dramatic. Last season, part of it involved people getting trapped underground.
It’s nice that NBC is teasing something for later this television season. We are about to go on a long hiatus during the Winter Olympics. That means a few weeks with no new episodes. Luckily, the shows will return with a flurry of new episodes.
When is the One Chicago crossover?
“This one is for you ChiHards 😏 Don’t miss the One Chicago Crossover event Wednesday, March 4 on NBC and Peacock,” announces a new Instagram post.
The post includes a video of the casts from Med, Fire, and P.D. joking around and having fun. Some of these characters have had very few interactions in the past.
“In 2026, ChiHards will ask for a crossover,” reads some overlayed text. “It’s very important that you say yes. One Chicago Crossover March 4th.”

New episodes of Med, Fire, and P.D.
NBC airs episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. on Wednesday nights. Previous episodes are streaming on Peacock.
New content arrives on January 21, January 28, and February 4. Then the shows take a break as the Winter Olympics arrive on NBC.
Now we know that the One Chicago shows are back with a huge crossover event on March 4. That will be a treat as the final episodes for the television season begin airing.
