Jinger Duggar spoke out about her brother, Joseph Duggar, and his alleged crimes while sitting alongside her husband, Jeremy Vuolo.
It’s been nearly a week since news broke that Joseph had been arrested. The world learned he would be extradited to Panama City, Florida, to face serious charges.
Shortly after that news made the rounds, his wife, Kendra Caldwell, was arrested.
She was charged with four counts of child endangerment and four counts of false imprisonment. Joseph was also charged in Arkansas alongside Kendra —something entirely separate from his other charges out of Florida.
While Jinger was busy pushing her typical content on social media, many wondered whether she would speak out.
Instead of just putting out words in an Instagram Story, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo added their voices to their YouTube account.
Jinger Duggar appears stoic during statement
Jeremy Vuolo and Jinger Duggar didn’t release a podcast this week. Instead, they filmed a short conversation about their thoughts regarding the Duggar family news over the last week.
This isn’t new for the couple. They navigated what happened with the eldest son, Josh Duggar, just four years ago.
Jinger didn’t say much, but made it very clear that her heart was shattered. She didn’t “think my heart could break like it has.”
There is also the fact that the second Duggar reality TV show was born following the news that Josh had inappropriately touched several of his sisters. Jinger was named as one of the victims.
It was clear that the couple was affected by the scandal and the subsequent arrest of Kendra Caldwell on charges related to children.
Jeremy Vuolo leads the conversation
Though the statement was just under six minutes long, Jeremy Vuolo did most of the talking. It was apparent that Jinger Duggar was still processing Joseph Duggar’s arrest and all that followed.
Everything was brought back to God, and they prayed for grace for the minor child and for wisdom for the officials working the case. It was similar to the statement they put out amid Josh Duggar’s arrest and subsequent conviction.
So far, Jinger and Jeremy have made the most poignant statement. They didn’t just offer words; they offered themselves in a raw, emotional state. At the beginning of the video, his voice cracked as he spoke about the devastation he and his wife were feeling.
