Emem Obot has been keeping a big secret: she’s about to be a mom.
The Married at First Sight star shared the pregnancy news, surprising viewers who watched her journey in Season 18.
Emem is expecting her first child with fiancé Brandon Williams.
Brandon, whom we met late into the season, is already a dad to two kids from his first marriage.
Emem and Brandon were middle school crushes who had lost touch over the years but reconciled when Emem’s marriage to Ikechi Ojore imploded.
Brandon didn’t waste any time proposing to the MAFS star weeks after they reconnected, and their relationship remains strong despite the skeptics.

Emem had already transitioned into stepmom mode, forming a close bond with Brandon’s kids.
Now they’re about to add one more to the brood, because the couple is expecting their first child together.
They shared the surprising news on social media, with the MAFS alum showing off her growing baby bump.
The duo also posted a video of the ultrasound with baby Williams.
“Baby Williams is coming Valentine’s Day 2026! I can’t wait to embark on this journey 🥰🙏🏾🥹,” noted Emem in her post.
Emem has limited the comments on her post, but we spotted some of her Season 18 castmates sending their congratulations.
Camille Parsons exclaimed, “A mommy! A mamacitaaaa! 🥲😍🫶🏽💙💕”
Karla Juarez also added, “Congrats, lovebirds 🐣. I’m going to be a Titi.”
Did Emem and Brandon get married?
During the season 18 finale of MAFS, expert pastor Cal conducted a ceremony for Emem and Brandon.
However, the couple noted that it wasn’t a legal ceremony.
Since then, it appears the couple has made things official in anticipation of their first child together.
We recently noticed that Emem has taken Brandon’s surname, removing Obot from her social media handles and replacing it with Williams.
Now, with the pregnancy news, it stands to reason that Emem and Brandon are officially man and wife, but we’re still waiting for confirmation on that.
