Big Brother 18 winner Nicole Franzel is friends with Big Brother 22 winner Cody Calafiore.
This may come as a surprise to some fans, given the events that have transpired over the years.
But Nicole confirmed it during a new Instagram post that poked fun at Cody.
The duo met on Big Brother 16, where Derrick Levasseur won the $500,000 prize.
Nicole got knocked out of the running earlier in that season, and Cody finished as the runner-up.
A friendship between Nicole and Cody developed as a result of their time on the Big Brother 16 cast.

Nicole returned for Big Brother 18, where she won the season over runner-up Paul Abrahamian.
It put her in the discussion of being an All-Star, and she officially gained that title in 2020.
Cody and Nicole, along with many other alumni, were invited to play on Big Brother: All-Stars 2 (BB22). And that’s where things got messy.
A pre-season alliance was formed, and Nicole thought she was going to be taken to the final two by Cody. But Cody went with Enzo Palumbo instead, leading to some awkward moments where Nicole sat on the jury.
Later, Cody was rumored to be disinvited to her wedding to fellow alum Victor Arroyo. She was clearly upset with him, but the two shared the stage again with Big Brother: Reindeer Games.

Nicole pokes fun at Cody in a new Instagram video where song lyrics state he is “dead” to her after not taking her to the final two.
“PSA @codycalafiore and I are friends so this is all in good fun!! 🥰,” Nicole clarifies in the comments.
The fun little video has drawn a lot of attention, including from her husband and Cody himself. They each got a good laugh out of the post.
