One Chicago schedule change hits NBC for crossover

A One Chicago schedule change hits on March 4. Don’t be alarmed if you tune in and Chicago Med isn’t airing at 8/7c.

Typically, the night begins with Med at 8/7c, continues with Fire at 9/8c, and concludes with P.D. at 10/9c.

But NBC likes to shake things up when it comes to the crossover events.

As a reminder, March 4 is a three-hour event for One Chicago. The three shows deal with one overarching storyline.

As previously reported by Tea on TV, fans will also see the return of Upstead on Chicago P.D. Two characters we haven’t seen in a few years will appear together again.

NBC schedule change for One Chicago on March 4

This new crossover begins with Chicago Fire at 8/7c on Wednesday, March 4. Beginning the night with Fire allows the story to jump right into the action.

Next up, Med follows at 9/8c, giving the doctors a chance to deal with the events from the first hour. And the early promos suggest it could be deadly.

The night ends with P.D. at 10/9c, giving the Intelligence team a chance to shine. Seeing Jesse Lee Soffer as Jay Halstead again and Tracy Spiridakos as Hailey Upton should be lots of fun.

Here is a summary of the breakdown for March 4:

  • Fire at 8/7c on NBC.
  • Med at 9/8c on NBC.
  • P.D. at 10/9c on NBC.

As always, the episodes will be streaming on Peacock the following day. That’s also where previous episodes can be found.

Here’s a new promo for the big event. We get to see some exciting moments and fun returns in the footage.

This is likely a one-off for Tracy Spiridakos. She has a new show (Anna Pigeon) airing on the USA Network. She can still put her detective skills to work, but it’s going to have a much different feel than P.D.

More from the One Chicago shows

A big Chicago Fire exit is upcoming. The writing has heavily suggested this for a while, but Firehouse 51 is about to lose a star player.

Here’s what happened to Officer Adam Ruzek on Chicago P.D. Ruzek has been missing in action, leaving the Intelligence team shorthanded. Off-screen, the actor who plays Ruzek had things to deal with.

As a reminder, here’s what happened to Mouch on Chicago Fire. The fan-favorite character has only been seen sporadically following a huge change for him. Luckily, Mouch is part of the crossover event.
