Steve Harvey is no stranger to seeing and hearing some bizarre things on Family Feud.
The game show host is often ready with a witty response, but sometimes he is outdone by the contestants.
In nearly every episode, contestants offer some surprising answers for what might appear on the big survey board.
However, sometimes the answers on the board surprise contestants, which happened on a Celebrity Family Feud episode.
In a recent episode, Team Lil Jon, along with his friends from the hip-hop scene, competed against comedian Matt Rife’s Club Rife, which featured other comedians.
And when things on the board didn’t make a lot of sense, contestant Lil Jon called out the host for it.
Lil Jon calls out Steve and Family Feud for strange answers
In a highlight moment from Celebrity Family Feud, Steve asked the contestants in a face-off to “Name a smell that might remind a woman of her ex.”
Club Rife won the face-off by correctly knowing that cologne or aftershave would be No. 1 on the board. They chose to keep playing on the game show.
Despite some incorrect answers, such as “hamburger” and “gas,” Rife correctly identified “body order” as another answer on the board.
Club Rife failed to prevent three strikes, so it went over to Team Lil Jon for a potential steal.
Lil Jon confidently said “hair shampoo” and was surprised when his answer didn’t show up. Club Rife celebrated the win because of that.
Things took a turn for the weird from there. Celebrity Family Feud revealed the No. 6 on the board was “cheese.”
“Who the hell are these people?” Lil Jon asked everyone around him.
“Who the hell did y’all talk to?” he asked Steve as he stared at him, adding, “They was white.”
“I’ve been doing this 16 years. I still don’t know who they talkin’ to,” the host fired back.
“Cheese?!” Lil Jon asked, adding, “Black people don’t think nobody smell like cheese!”
“What the hell is that, Steve? I want to see the judges, now! That’s some BS,” he said, as everyone kept laughing.
Steve reminded Lil Jon he’s there to “just read the questions and flip the board” as the host.
The strange answers didn’t stop with cheese, as “wood” also appeared on the board. Lil Jon joked that he expected to see “mayonnaise” as one of the answers, too.
Fans reacted to Lil Jon’s rant on Feud
In the YouTube comments, fans had a lot to say about the hip-hop star’s funny tirade on Celebrity Family Feud. Many were amused or happy to see him addressing some of the weird answers that often appear in the game show’s surveys.
“Finally someone calling out the ridiculous questions & answers,” a popular comment said.
“I’m crying XD! Lil Jon ain’t holding back on the BS from these answers!” one fan wrote.
“I ain’t neva laughed so hard this early in the morning until this video lmaooo,” another fan said.
“Perfectly missed opportunity for a ‘WHAT?!’ from Lil Jon,” one fan commented.
“Matt Rife upstaged by the comedic stylings of Lil Jon,” a commenter said.
LIl Jon is best known for his song Turn Down for What and as a featured artist on Yeah! by Usher. His yelling “What?!” became highly recognizable and iconic as a call-out in the genre.
Along with Lil Jon, other hip-hop artists who appeared on his team for the game show included E-40 and Too Short. Erik Griffin and Jackson McQueen were among those participating for Club Rife.
