Survivor 50’s Charlie Davis has some interesting things to say about the season.
As previously reported by Tea on TV, Charlie was voted out on Day 11.
He became the seventh person eliminated, finishing an episode that saw two people voted out.
Charlie got Blindsided, with the narrative suggesting he was blinded by trying to target Rizo Velovic.
But Rizo got the drop on Charlie first, setting up an alliance with Cirie Fields, Kamilla Karthigesu, and Dee Valladares.
Now, Charlie has added some fuel to the drama, suggesting Dee and Rizo knew each other before Survivor 50.
Charlie outs a secret Dee and Rizo alliance on Survivor 50
A new exit interview with Page 6 has added some off-screen Survivor drama.
Charlie sat down to speak about his experience, revealing what did him in and why he was targeting Rizo so hard.
In addition to his feelings about Rizo turning on an ally on Survivor 49, Charlie also wanted to get Rizo out before he had strong alliances.
“I know Dee had like a FaceTime before the season with Rizo, and like, I learned that obviously after the fact,” Charlie told Page Six. “I think [they met] through Soph because they’re both in Miami.”
Charlie alluded to hearing it at Ponderosa after he was voted out. Later, he noted that it might not be true, but it’s what he heard and believed.
He was referencing Sophi Balerdi from Survivor 49. She played with Rizo.
“So I think that probably played into it too, because If I were Dee, I’d be like, ‘Oh wow. I have this like pre-game relationship with Rizo and no one else has that because no one else would have any way of like getting in touch with him or knowing he was on 50,” Charlie added.
Maybe Charlie would have been better served by working with Rizo and Dee. That could have led to some interesting dynamics as the season progressed.
Charlie’s full interview is shared below. He also speaks about who he would have liked to play with, including Angelina Keeley.
