Survivor 50 jury votes for who played the best game

The Survivor 50 jury (the first nine members) got a chance to share some interesting thoughts in a new interview.

The group was asked which juror they felt played the best game this season. It led to some intriguing responses.

As a reminder, the first nine jurors were Dee Valladares, Chrissy Hofbeck, Coach Wade, Christian Hubicki, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Emily Flippen, Ozzy Lusth, Rick Devens, and Cirie Fields.

Two more people joined them later, with those players being revealed during the season finale.

So let’s take a look at what they told Entertainment Weekly.

Which Survivor 50 jury member played the best game?

Rick Devens and Cirie Fields got many kudos from their fellow jury members. Their social games were so strong this season, helping nearly guide them to the end. Despite coming up short in their goals to win that $2 million prize, their fellow castaways were very impressed by their gameplay.

Will Survivor fans agree with that assessment? The show has had fans vote for their favorite player of the season. That person gets a nice $100,000 prize on the night of the finale. Regardless of that result, Rick and Cirie had a huge impact on this momentous season.

Below is the list of Survivor 50 jury members and who they felt played the best game.

  • Dee picked Christian and Cirie.
  • Chrissy picked Rick.
  • Coach picked Rick.
  • Christian picked Cirie.
  • Stephenie picked herself and then went with Rick.
  • Emily picked Rick and Christian after complimenting Cirie.
  • Ozzy picked Cirie.
  • Rick picked Cirie.
  • Cirie picked Rick.

Survivor players elaborate on their answers

“Devens. He increased the prize from one million to two million on a coin flip. The fake idol was courageous! He was mentioned as the target for a few votes, yet it always fizzled out. And he’s a hoot to be around!” Cirie answered.

“Besides Stephenie (me), I’ll give it to Devens. Everyone was afraid to sit next to him in the end,” Stephenie stated.

“This is such a hard question because I genuinely believe so many members of the jury played great, distinct games. There is no real objective truth for “best.” But from watching it back, it’s hard to argue with the control Cirie had during virtually the entire time on the island. That being said, I have to answer Rick or Christian, not just because I obviously love them as people but because I have so much respect for castaways who have to be scrappy, and I thought they both did that incredibly well with an impressive level of graciousness. It’s rare you get to meet such standup people like them,” Emily elaborated.

More from the world of Survivor

Here is our first look at the Survivor 51 cast. This looks like another fun group of players.

Destination X is returning with more reality TV stars for Season 2. That includes a Survivor winner, a Big Brother winner, and people from Love Island USA.

Cirie recently forgave Rizo Velovic for turning on her during Season 50. It was an impressive admission by her. Rizo may have to do a lot more to win back the fans they had shared.
