Survivor castaways used to do anything for treats

Survivor 6 was more infamous than just the unrelenting weather of Brazil. Long-time fans also remember it because of the chocolate and peanut butter.

To set the stage, it was winter 2002, and the Survivor producers were filming a new season in the Amazon (Brazil). The show invited 16 people to battle the elements and each other.

As a reminder, Jenna Morasca won, and Matthew von Ertfelda was the runner-up. The cast also included podcaster Rob Cesternino and Christy Smith. As previously reported by Tea on TV, Rob is also part of the cast for The Traitors 4.

A treat during the first Individual Immunity Challenge of Survivor 6

Midway through the season, Jeff Probst introduced an intense Individual Immunity Challenge. The players had to balance on a perch. The last person standing would win Immunity.

As the challenge progressed, Jeff teased that he would begin offering temptations to get people to drop out.

“I’d take my clothes off for chocolate and peanut butter,” Jenna suddenly blurted out.

“Get the girl some chocolate and peanut butter Probst,” a castaway states.

“I’m so in,” inferred Heidi Strobel as she requested soda.

In the blink of an eye, Jeff emerged with a plate of cookies, a heaping plate of peanut butter, and two glasses of cola.

“Heidi, do you wanna do it?” Jenna asked.

“Yeah,” Heidi replied.

The ladies honored their deal with Jeff and then jumped into the water to collect their rewards.

Reflecting on the deal they made with Jeff Probst, Jenna and Heidi later talked about that infamous television moment.

They showed no regrets, though they did worry a bit about piranhas in the water. The ladies also mentioned they had gone 21 days with almost no food, and joked about how viewers didn’t see everything.
