A Survivor deleted scene has revealed some intense drama from Fiji. It turns out that Sophi Balerdi went through Kristina Mills’s bag to determine if her fellow castaway had any Advantages.
Within the Survivor rules, it is permitted to search castaways’ belongings in this fashion. But it also doesn’t sit well with many Survivor fans.
In fact, many Survivor fans have expressed shock and outrage that anyone would do it. But it happens more frequently than we see during the CBS episodes.
The Survivor deleted scene- Sophi goes through Kristina’s bag
In a deleted scene from Survivor 49, Episode 10, Sophie Segreti and Sophi (Soph) Balerdi discussed a possible Hidden Immunity Idol in Kristina Mills’s possession. As viewers already knew, Kristina has had the Idol for a while.
When Sophie shares her thoughts with Soph, she heads straight for Kristina’s bag.
“This is such an invasion of privacy,” Soph states as she goes through Kristina’s belongings.
“I know,” Sophie responds as she watches for Kristina to return to camp.
Later, Soph reiterates that it’s “an invasion of privacy” but also adds that she felt it had to happen.
The women come across what they believe to be an Immunity Idol in her bag. Soph confirms that the discovery forces them to change their game plans for the evening.
As we already know, Kristina did play her Immunity Idol during Episode 10. She played it to keep Steven Ramm safe, but it was wasted because the target had shifted to Jawan Pitts.
Rizo Velovic also fooled many Survivor fans when he played a Fake Immunity Idol. It was a moment that could go down in Survivor history for how well it played out.
