Survivor legend Sandra Diaz-Twine is ready to tackle another reality competition show.
The two-time Survivor winner was also recently on The Traitors, but now she is taking on a family-oriented show called Extracted.
Extracted is a FOX competition show where trios compete for a $250,000 prize. One family member is stranded in the wilderness, and the other two people watch via a live feed and try to help them win the game.
Players are eliminated only when they quit or their family extracts them from the game. And there is no direct contact between the duo in the control booth and the player out in the wild. But they can help them to win advantages, food, and tools along the way.
FOX aired the first season of Extracted last winter, and the show now returns as a mid-season addition to the FOX 2026 lineup.
Sandra-Diaz Twine goes from Survivor to Extracted – with her family
Queen Sandra will appear on the Extraced Season 2 cast alongside her daughter, Nina, and Nina’s boyfriend, Eric. The trio will compete in the Canadian wilderness for the $250,000 prize.
“Check out #TeamEric on #Extracted S2 coming in January 🔥 Catch Him Outside HOW BOUT DAT 🤪 Such an honor to play yet another game along since some epic people out in Canada,” Nina wrote on Instagram.
Below is the first trailer for the new season, and Sandra is featured right out of the gate.
“Bring home the win. Or don’t come back,” Sandra states as Eric begins playing the game.
Sandra may have won Survivor twice, but this game will require her to tap into some new skills. She will be battling other families from inside a control booth, doing whatever it takes to advance Eric in the game. But does he have what it takes to survive the wild and win that $250,000 prize?
The Extracted Season 2 premiere arrives on FOX on January 26. Check out the trailer below to get a feel for the new season.
