As previously reported by Tea on TV, the theme of the fresh season is Cutthroat.
It’s the second time the producers have used this theme, with the players competing as teams.
Each episode sends people to the Gulag, the location of the elimination challenge in this format.

Some legends have returned, including Cara Maria Sorbello from MTV shows and 99 to Beat, and CT Tamburello from The Real World: Paris and The Traitors.
This new season was filmed in Thailand, and several sources continue to share news about the new installment.
Who won the elimination challenges on The Challenge 42?
As previously reported by Tea on TV, Johnny Bananas from The Real World: Key West and The Traitors won one of the first Gulag over Cedric Hodges from Big Brother.
It was later revealed that Deb Chubb from Love Island USA eliminated Reilly Smedley from Big Brother 25 – possibly in the same episode.
Keanu Soto from Big Brother 27 beat Brad Fiorenza from The Real World: San Diego.
Later, Anna Leigh Wilson from The Amazing Race defeated Nurys Mateo (Are You the One?).

Nelson Thomas from Are You the One? beat Keanu. Cara Maria Sorbello also beat Deb.
Tori Deal from Are You The One? eliminated Anna Leigh.
Justin Hinsley from Cheer also eliminated Chris Underwood from Survivor.
