The Challenge: All Stars spinoff appears ready to return with a sixth installment for fans to enjoy.
It feels like forever ago that viewers watched as former friends-turned-rivals-turned-friends-again, Adam Larson and Steve Meinke, captured the big win on All Stars 5.
That season featured the return of a previous theme familiar to OG Challenge fans: Rivals, as teams consisted of pairs of players with a history of a beef or feud. Some of these rivalries appeared more realistic than others.
All Stars 5 also featured another deviation from previous seasons, which had mainly featured MTV stars, and instead introduced newer cast members from other networks’ reality shows.
That irked some of the fan base by bringing more recent cast members from Big Brother, including Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat and Amber Borzotra, as well as 12 Dates of Christmas star Corey Lay.
In addition, they switched things up for fans, as they put AS5 on MTV rather than Paramount+, where fans had binged the first four seasons of All Stars.
With all that in mind, viewers are hoping to see a return to form with the Season 6 cast, as a filming update recently arrived.
All Stars 6 to film amid Season 41 airing
The Challenge producers seem to be giving their all to bring out new seasons of the reality competition series.
A new Season 41 trailer for The Challenge: Vets and New Threats has fans anticipating the flagship show.
A new era for the long-running MTV reality competition series begins with the premiere on July 29.
Then there’s All Stars 6, which seems to be happening! According to Vevmo forum spoilers from PinkRose, the new cast will depart in September.
That likely means they’ll film throughout September and October, as All Stars is much shorter than MTV’s main show.
Who’s in The Challenge: All Stars 6 cast?
At the moment, these questions are anyone’s guess. However, the list of “up in the air” cast members at Vevmo surely has fans salivating over the possibilities.
Amanda Garcia for All Stars? Yes, please! She’s new and appeared in AYTO?, but we know that devil Amanda always brings the drama, as seen in her brief yet fiery appearances on USA 2 and Season 40.
Bringing back Zach Nichols and Jenna Compono could ruffle some feathers with fans or other cast members. They’re married with many children, so it might be difficult for both of them to appear on the show.
However, Leroy Garrett and Kam Williams both appeared in All Stars 5, so it’s not outside the realm of possibilities!
Then there are the OGs whom Mark Long has teased us with over the past several months. Videos arrived from former fan favorites Sarah Rice and Coral Smith, who would both be amazing gets for a sixth season.
It has many fans seriously hyped about these possibilities, but if they don’t materialize, imagine the disappointment and backlash that would follow. Let’s hope Mark is helping to make it happen!
Along with the names mentioned above, fans would love to see other legends, such as Susie Meister, Landon Lueck, Kina Dean, Evelyn Smith, Dan Walsh, Julie Stoffer, and CJ Koegel.
The list goes on and on, encompassing the show’s extensive cast, and then there are all of the cast members who appeared in All Stars 1-5.
Fans might want to see Frank Sweeney Fox, Sam McGinn, or Shane Landrum back in the competition. While Frank seems to have retired from The Challenge, the latter two seem like possibilities.
When will All Stars Season 6 premiere?
With the cast departing in September, filming is likely to continue through October. It probably means that a new installment of the spinoff will be released by early 2026, if not sooner.
It would be surprising if All Stars episodes didn’t appear on MTV, since Season 5 marked the first season the spinoff aired on The Challenge’s OG channel.
In the meantime, fans will be able to consume Season 41 on MTV, which will feature plenty of familiar faces and some brand-new rookies looking to make names for themselves.
Love it or hate it, The Challenge: All Stars is returning. Let us know below which cast members you’d like to see most on the new season!
The Challenge: Vets & New Threats premieres Wednesday, July 30 at 8/7c on MTV.
