It’s also possible that it was simply another way to tease the fans and create some artificial buzz.
At least we’re talking about Big Brother again. That’s a significant development as the summer months get underway.
An update on the Big Brother 27 cast
A new social media post claimed that the producers had not selected the Big Brother 27 cast by Wednesday night (July 25).
It seemed a bit odd, given that the season premiere arrives on Thursday, July 10. But it could also mean we are working toward a live move-in.
“BB Interns reporting live outside the #BigBrother house,” the post began.
“We have seen a cloud of black smoke coming out of the house, confirming that the BB Producers have yet to pick their #BB27 cast,” the post continued.
Does this mean they are down to 20ish candidates before making the final cuts?
“This means they will be in the BB house for the next 24 hours, in hopes that they’ll make their final decision on who they want as their full #cast. Stay tuned as we continue this full coverage of this exciting moment, as the BB #Conclave continues,” it finished.
Later, someone returned to the post to leave a comment on behalf of the production team.
“We will try again tomorrow,” it read.
