Details on the cast for The Challenge 42 link it to several Big Brother alums.
The contestants have already left for Thailand, where the new season is being filmed.
As previously reported by Tea on TV, many former houseguests have popped up in Challenge rumors.
Now, GamerVev has been confirming some of the names. She is a source for news about The Challenge. And GamerVev has been slowrolling a list of the new cast members.
So who made the cut? Her unofficial list features people from Big Brother, Survivor, Love Island, and many other reality TV shows.
Big Brother alums on The Challenge 42 cast
Thus far, three names have been confirmed. Several other names have been linked to the show, and a few have also been ruled out.
First, the bad news. Or maybe it’s good news for some fans?
Big Brother 19 winner Josh Martinez is out. He’s busy filming Celebrity Big Brother in Mexico. He has already brought drama to the Telemundo show.
Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat from Big Brother 20 is also out. He had previously been confirmed as a returning player, but GamerVev retracted that announcement.
But let’s get to the names she did confirm.
Keanu Soto from Big Brother 27 got an invite. He was voted as America’s Favorite Houseguest on BB27. A challenge beast, Keanu may be built exactly right for The Challenge.
Reilly Smedley from Big Brother 25 was also recently confirmed. She was the second person eliminated on BB25. But many fans felt she never got a chance to show what she could do.
Cedric Hodges from Big Brother 26 also got an invite. He, too, was a challenge beast on his season, and the BB26 houseguest will make his second appearance on a Challenge show.
Who else will make the cut? Paulie Calafiore from Big Brother 17 was in earlier rumors. His return could add some spice to the show, especially with Cara Maria Sorbello also invited.
But Paulie’s Instagram does have a new post. Is someone running it for him? Or is he indeed at home?
