The Challenge 42: Four players disqualified, reasons revealed

The Challenge 42 has ended, but there was a lot of drama during filming.

As previously reported by Tea on TV, spoilers have already revealed who won Cuthroat 2.

But there were some downsides during filming. Four people were disqualified from the game.

That information has been out for a while, but now there are reasons to go along with the events.

A family emergency disqualification on The Challenge 42

Cory Wharton from The Real World: Ex-Plosion was reportedly disqualified earlier in the season. There had already been rumors that it was related to his daughter’s health.

“Cory was DQ’d due to a family emergency involving his youngest daughter,” reads the new confirmation from Gamervev. The account routinely provides insight into The Challenge.

Getting disqualified for a family emergency is one thing. But that’s not the reason the other players got sent home.

Huge drama while filming The Challenge 42

Josh Goldstein from Love Island USA, Leonardo Dionicio from Love Island USA, and Nelson Thomas from Are You the One? were all disqualified for the same incident.

“Leo was DQ’d for using the N-word during a game with Nelson, and Josh was also DQ’d for repeating it,” states a new Instagram post.

“Nelson confronted Josh, walked away, then later returned to the Kitchen where items ended up being broken (no physical fight),” the post continues. “Nelson was primarily upset over the language used.”

It sounds like a really intense sequence of events.

“Production removed Nelson to a hotel, and ultimately disqualified him for the damage in the kitchen. Josh was also DQ’d (understandably for saying the word), and Leo was disqualified as well for saying it earlier,” the post elaborates.

This looks pretty bad for Leo and Josh. Less so for Nelson, but getting disqualified from a reality TV show is never fun. More details will likely come from the trio later, as the season has finally finished filming.
