A new Big Brother 28 episode aired on Thursday night (July 30), showcasing someone new getting sent home.
Kamu Kirk was the Week 3 Head of Household. He nominated La Trice, Mallory, and Lyric.
Later, Lyric won the Power of Veto and saved herself from the block. Kamu then made Jason the replacement nominee.
Kamu had always planned to do that, but he hijacked Mallory’s Tea Party to try to make Jason look worse.

Big Brother 28, Episode 12 recap
Discussions about the upcoming eviction vote happened. Jason was the primary target, but some people were fighting to keep him around. The thought was that he would become a shield and play hard for the people who saved him. Mallory was on board with that plan, as it would also keep her safe. Therefore, it meant La Trice would be at risk.
Later, the arguments to save Jason fell apart because it would require too many moving parts to pull off. Drew and Barrett discussed it, but they would have to turn on the Toolshed to succeed.
Drew defended Mallory to the Toolshed over La Trice. Angela spoke badly about Drew after he left the conversation.
BB Blockbuster for the Big Brother 28 cast
The three nominees had to play a version of Jenga that used VHS tapes. The person to remove the most tapes from their tower in two minutes would win.
La Trice was out early, leaving Jason and Mallory to battle. It was close, with Mallory just ahead until the very end. Each player was about to deposit an additional tape when the timer sounded—neither counted. Mallory won by one tape.
Mallory became safe. The eviction vote was between Jason and La Trice.
